operations carried out by the Mujahideen of the Islamic State of Iraq (may
Allah honor it) in some regions of al-Mosel Sector, Nainawa province, during
02/08/2008 to 29/08/2008. All praise is due to Allah.
1- On 2/8/2008 : Damaging a police vehicle and killing four police elements by
exploding a booby-trapped car at them in “Karag Ash-Shimal” region .
2- On 2/8/2008 : Exploding a booby-trapped car at a Beshmarga foot patrol in
“17 Tamooz” quarter in the right side . Losses were unknown .
3- On 2/8/2008 : Detonating an explosive device at a pick- up car for the
police in “Al-Hadba” quarter , resulted in the death of two of their elements
and damaging their vehicle .
4- On 2/8/2008 : Attacking a checkpoint for the police in “Al-Magmoah” region
in the left side , resulted in the death of two police elements .
5- On 2/8/2008 : Shelling a Beshmarga headquarters in “Al-Karama” quarter with

Ad-Dobaat” quarter in the left side, resulted in its burning and the death of
all its passengers .

that resulted in its demolition and the death of seven apostates.

in “Al-Boorsa” region, resulted in the burning of two of their vehicles .
38- On 4/8/2008 : Attacking -at night- a police checkpoint in “Al-Boorsa”
region , resulted in the death of three police elements.
39- On 4/8/2008 : Detonating an explosive device at a pick-up car for the
police in “Al-Kornash” region in the right side .

in “Al-Qouds” quarter , resulted in the death and injury of six of them .

National Guard and police in “Souq Al-Ma’ash” region, then attacking it with
light and medium weapons , which resulted in the destruction of a Hummer and
pick-up vehicles for the police and the death and injury of ten of them .
42- On 4/8/2008 : Exploding a booby-trapped car at a National Guard foot
patrol ,consisting of five elements, in “ Sena’at Al-Abwab wa Ash-Shababeek”
region in the right side.
43- On 4/8/2008 : Detonating an explosive device at a pick- up car for the
police in “ Al-Ba’ath” quarter , resulted in its burning and the death of all
its passengers .

death of three police elements .

with soldiers, for the Beshmarga in al-Hadba'ah quarter, which resulted in the
death and injury of its passengers.
55. On 5/8/2008: Launching a missile at a Hummer vehicle for the National
Guard in al-Boarsah region, which resulted in its destruction.
56. On 5/8/2008: Breaking into a checkpoint for the National Guard in al-Islah
al-Zira'ie region, which resulted in the death of three elements of them.
57. On 5/8/2008: Detonating an explosive device at a pick-up car for the
police ,in the Industrial Area of the left side, to leave it damaged.
58. On 5/8/2008: Blowing up the house of a police element in al-Islah al-Zira'ie
region.
59. On 5/8/2008: Shelling with five mortars the National Guard headquarters in
Aden quarter. The hits were on target.
60. On 5/8/2008: Sniper shot a Beshmarga element in a checkpoint in al-Tahreer
quarter.
61. On 5/8/2008: Assassinating a police element near al-Wokala'ah building in
the Industrial Area of the left side.
62. On 6/8/2008: Detonating an explosive device at a pick-up car for the
Beshmarga, in Bab Shams region in the left side, to leave it destroyed.
63. On 6/8/2008: Destroying a Hummer vehicle for the National Guard and
leaving its passengers killed after detonating an explosive device at it near
Tal al-Roman region.
64. On 6/8/2008: Attacking ,with light weapons and hand grenades, a joint
checkpoint for the National Guard and police on al-Pepsi street near al-Zangeeli
region, resulted in the incineration of two police vehicles and the death of
three elements of them.
65. On 6/8/2008: Detonating an explosive device at a pick-up car for the
police in al-Muthanna quarter, but losses were unknown.
66. On 6/82008: Detonating an explosive device at a Hummer vehicle for the
Beshmarga in al-Mithaq quarter, but losses were unknown.
67. On 6/8/2008: Assassinating a police commissioner in Ma'arid region in the
left side.
68. On 6/8/2008: Assassinating two police elements in al-Masarif quarter in
the left side.
69. On 7/8/2008: A hero of the Martyr Battalion (may
Allah glorify it) set off to destroy one of the apostates' headquarters; he
broke, with his booby-trapped car, into the police reservists' headquarters in
al-Wihdah quarter, and Allah made it easy for him to reach to the inside, so
he exploded his car to kill more than ten of them and destroy part of the
headquarters. We ask Allah to accept our brother among martyrs.
70. On 7/8/2008: Detonating an explosive device at a US tank near Shiqaq al-Harmat,
but losses were unknown.
71.On 7/8/2008: Attacking a checkpoint for the National Guard in Bab al-Hadeed
region in the right side, which resulted in the incineration of a Hummer
vehicle and killing of four National Guard elements.

one of them.

81. On 9/8/2008: Destroying a Hummer vehicle for the National Guard and
killing its passengers after detonating an explosive device at it in al-Tanak
quarter in the right side.

car , the damage of another and the death of many of their elements .
150- On 19/8/2008 : Detonating an explosive device at a US Hummer vehicle
nearby “Abu Tammam” electricity generator on Baghdad street , resulted in the
death and injury of all its passengers .
151- On 19/8/2008 : Shelling a headquarters for the crusaders in “Somar”
quarter with four 60mm mortars . The hits were precise and on target .
152- On 19/8/2008 : Assassinating an element of the Ghder (Bader) Corps in the
Industrial Area of the left side .
153- On 19/8/2008 : Shelling the Radio Station in “Al-Khadraa” quarter with
60mm mortar . Losses were unknown .
154- On 19/8/2008 : Attacking , in the morning , a police checkpoint nearby
“Masref al-Boursa” region , resulted in the death of two police elements . At
night, the same checkpoint was again attacked, but losses were unknown.
155- On 19/8/2008 : Destroying a pick-up car for the police and killing one of
their elements after detonating an explosive device at it in “Somar” quarter .

resulted in their death .

171- On 21/8/2008 : Assassinating an apostate element of the police in
“An-Nabi Yonis” region in the left side .
172- On 21/8/2008 : Attacking a police headquarters in “Az-Zanjili” region ,
resulted in the death of a policeman .
173- On 21/8/2008 : Launching a Katyusha rocket at a headquarters for the
crusaders in “Al-Ghazali” camp .
174- On 21/8/2008 : Assassinating an element of the Beshmarga in “Al-Entisar”
quarter.
175- On 21/8/2008 : Attacking a police checkpoint in “Souq Al-Ma’ash” region ,
resulted in the death of two police elements.
176- On 22/8/2008 : Detonating an explosive device at a police headquarters in
“Hammam Al-Aleel” region , resulted in the death of five apostates .
177- On 22/8/2008 : Attacking with a hand grenade a police checkpoint in
“Al-Jazaer” quarter in the left side , resulted in the death of three of them
.
178- On 23/8/2008 : A courageous soldier from Martyr Battalion –May Allah
honor it – attacked with his booby-trapped car a convoy for the so-called "
Leader of Nainawa military operation" , the apostate "Reyadh", who was under
the protection of his masters; the crusaders . The courageous brother shouted
(Allahu Akbar) then exploded his car at them , however the apostate (Reyadh)
was in another car . That operation resulted in the destruction of one of
their vehicles and the death of five of his bodyguards, among them a captain
,and an apostate women worked as a translator.
179- On 23/8/2008 : Attacking ,at 6:00pm, with light and medium weapons a
checkpoint for the National Guard in “17-Tamooz” quarter in the right side.
Losses were unknown .
180- On 23/8/2008 : Attacking with light weapons a police headquarters in
“Az-Zanjili” region in the right side , resulted in the death of two of them .
181- On 23/8/2008 : Assassinating a spy working with the crusaders in
“Al-Yarmook” quarter in the right side .
182- On 23/8/2008 : Assassinating a first lieutenant police officer in
“Al-Makawi” quarter in the right side .
183- On 24/8/2008 : Attacking a US minesweeper with a C5 rocket in “ Baddalat
Al-Yarmook” region, on Baghdad street in the right side , resulted in the
death and injury of all its passengers.
184- On 24/8/2008 :Attacking with light and medium weapons a US armored
vehicle in the tunnel of “As-Sehha” quarter in the right side , resulted in
its damage.
185- On 24/8/2008 :Attacking a National Guard checkpoint in “Al-Shifaa”
quarter in the right side , resulted in the death of one of them .
186- On 25/8/2008 : Damaging a US minesweeper after attacking it with a hand
grenade (at 8:00pm) in “Al-A’amel” quarter in the right side .
187- On 25/8/2008 : Attacking , with a hand grenade and at 8:30pm, a US convoy
on the Fifth Bridge from the right side, resulted in the damage of a
construction materials carrier belonging to them and the death of its driver .
188- On 25/8/2008 : Attacking , at 9:00pm , a joint headquarters for the
National Guard and police in “Al-Bowrsa” region in the right side. Losses were
unknown.
189- On 25/8/2008 : Attacking with light weapons a police headquarters on
“Pepsi” street in “Az-Zanjili” quarter , resulted in the death of one of their
elements.
190- On 25/8/2008 : Assassinating one of the heads of apostacy ;the major (Mothanna)
who was a police investigator in “Al-Majmooah Ath-Thaqafiyya” region.
191- On 26/8/2008 : Breaking into a police checkpoint (at 12:00pm) in “Bab Al-Baydh”
region in the right side , resulted in the death of five apostates .
192- On 26/8/2008 : Attacking with light weapons a police checkpoint (at
9:00am) in “Az-Zanjili” quarter , resulted in the death of one of its elements
.
193- On 26/8/2008 : Burning a “Vectra” car in “karag Al-Kowayera” region . It
belonged to a person who used to carry police elements who were off duty.
Though he had been warned many times, he did not respond .
194- On 26/8/2008 : Blowing up three houses belonged to the elements of Ghder
(Bader) Corps in “Al-Atshanah” region in the left side .They were completely
destroyed.
195- On 27/8/2008 : Two courageous soldiers from the Martyrs Battalion –may
Allah honor it – carried out ,with their booby-trapped cars, a blessed
incursion at the crusaders . The first martyrdom-seeking brother attacked with
his booby trapped car a US convoy in “An-Nabi Yonis” region , resulted in the
destruction of a Hummer vehicle and the death of all its passengers ,and
another Hummer vehicle was damaged . Then the crusaders blockaded the region
to evacuate their rotten corpses ,while the second martyrdom-seeking brother
was waiting in his car, for to the supporting troops which were coming to the
operation scene, so he attacked them with his car in “Al-Mayaala” quarter
nearby the operation’s site to leave them rotten corpses .
We ask Allah to accept our brothers among martyrs in the high ranks of
paradise.
196- On 27/8/2008 : A courageous soldier of the Islamic State carried out a
heroic operation and broke into three police checkpoints in “Dowrat Abo Alisi”
region nearby “al-Mosel al-Jadeda” region in the right side . The attack
resulted in the death of twelve apostates .
197- On 27/8/2008 : Destruction of a police vehicle and the death of all its
passengers after detonating an explosive device on the road of the Mosel dam
in the left side .
198- On 28/8/2008 : Attacking with a hand grenade the protection convoy of the
police chief of “Al-Mosel” in “Al-Jammasah” region in the left side .
199- On 29/8/2008 : Destruction of a US Hummer vehicle and the death of all
its passengers after detonating an explosive device at it nearby “Al-Benaa Al-Jahez”
region (On “Douhook” road) in the left side .
200- On 29/8/2008 : Damaging a pick-up car for the police and injuring many of
its passengers by detonating an explosive device in “Al-Jammasah” region in
the left side .
201- Killing a Beshmarga agent . He was working in the hospital of “Al-Wehda”
quarter .
202- Injuring seriously a Beshmarga lieutenant officer in “Al-Wehda” quarter .
203- Throwing a hand grenade at a National Guard watching hill , resulted in
the death of three of them in “An-Noor” quarter .
204- Throwing another hand grenade at another watching hill in the same
quarter . Losses were unknown .
205- Detonating an explosive device at a police patrol , resulted in the death
of all its elements and the complete destruction of their vehicle in “
Az-Zeraee” quarter .
206- Exploding a booby-trapped car at a police patrol in “Ash-Shortah” quarter
.
207- Implanting an explosive device on the road of “Wadi Hajar” then
detonating it, which resulted in the death of the so-called (Abu-Tha’aer) –
one of the Awakening Councils' sheikhs-, loss of a leg for one of his
bodyguards and the injury of other passengers .
208- Implanting an explosive device under the car of the apostate Shiite "
Aqeed Dawood" – one of “Ar-Rashidiyya” tribes' sheikhs– , resulted in his
immediate death. He was at the top of the list which includes five sheikhs who
had a meeting with the apostate (Reyadh), leader of the military operations in
Nainawa, to establish the Awakening Councils in “Ar-Rashidiyya” region .
209- Killing the apostate (Ibraheem Musallam) -who was working as a spy- while
he was coming back to his house which he had left out of fear and escaped out
of Mosol . His son , working in the National Guard -Wolf Brigade-, was badly
injured too .
210- Killing the apostate (Shamel) ; a thug and a police element.
211- Blowing up the house of the apostate (Ahmad Taha) . He used to inform
against the Mujahideen .
212- Assassinating the so-called (Abu Hafsah); one of the leaders of the
Islamic party .
213- Assassinating the governor of “As-Sa’ah” region; he used to inform the
National Guard and police against the Mujahideen .
214- Killing a lieutenant in the police in the right side .
215- Assassinating the apostate (Arrak) ; he was working in “Al-Kanadi” camp .
216- Detonating an explosive device at a vehicle for the crusaders in
“Ad-Dawwasah” region , resulted in its damage.
217- Detonating an explosive device at a vehicle for the police on the Fifth
Bridge .
218- Assassinating two policemen of the Third Battalion in “ As-Sena’a Al-Qadema”
region .
219- Assassinating a police major and injuring a soldier who was in his
company in “Al-Mohandeseen” quarter .
220- Booby-trapping a vehicle and parking it inside “At-Tameem” police
headquarters then exploding it inside . Losses were unknown.
221- Assassinating the notary investigator of “An-Nazahaa” province department
in “Al-Baladiyyat” quarter .
222- Assassinating a National Guard lieutenant in “Al-Attasha” region .
223- Assassinating an element of Ghder (Bader) corps in “Al-A’abar” region .
He was a head in “Tallafar” region .
224- Assassinating a police commissioner in “As-Sena’ah” region.
225- Destroying a pick-up car for the police in “Al-Boorsa” region .
226- Assassinating the lieutenant (Sa’ad) who was working in the FPS and he
was the one who killed two of the Mujahideen in “Al-Jame’a” quarter .
These operations were part of al-Karama (The Dignity) Plan, which was declared
by Ameer Al-Mu’meneen Sheikh Abu Omar al-Baghdadi (may Allah protect him),
leader of the Islamic State of Iraq.
