The Islamic State of Iraq / News Brief for al-Jazeera Sector, Nainawa Province
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful.
All praise and thanks are due to Allah, and may the peace and blessings of
Allah be upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family and his companions in entirety.
This is the news brief for the military operations carried out by the
Mujahideen of the Islamic State of Iraq (may Allah honor it) in some regions
of al-Jazeera Sector, Nainawa province, during 02/08/2008 to 29/08/2008. All
praise is due to Allah.
1- Detonating two explosive devices at two houses belonging to spies working
with the crusader forces in “Tallafar” region , which resulted in the complete
destruction of both houses.
2- Exploding a booby-trapped car at a gathering of Ghder (Bader) corps nearby
the market in “Tallafar” region , which resulted in the death of about 36
elements , the injury of about 70 others , destruction of their houses and
burning of some of their cars.
3- Detonating an explosive device at a house used as a headquarters for the
apostate police in “Tallafar” region, resulted in the death of three police
elements according to the statement of Tallafar TV.
4- Destroying two houses in “Tallafar” region belonging to Ad-Dajjal (Mouqtada
As-Sader) Army, resulted in the injury of five of them.
5- Shelling the headquarters of the National Guard in “Tamarat” Camp with
three Katyusha rockets . The hits were precise and on target.
6- Exploding a booby-trapped car in a garage for the police, resulted in the
death of four police elements and the burning of seven of their vehicles.
7- Clashing with police patrols using light/medium weapons, losses were
unknown.
8- Destroying a headquarters in “ Badoosh” region that was used in the past
for “Al-Ba’ath” party and later for the National Guard.
9- Detonating an explosive device in “ Badoosh” region at a National Guard’s
patrol , losses were unknown.
10- Launching three rockets at a gathering of Ad-Dajjal (Mouqtada As-Sader)
Army in “Tallafar” region.
11- Shelling the headquarters of the National Guards in “ Al-Addayah” region
with 82mm mortars , the hits were precise and on target.
12- Detonating an explosive device on the road of “Tallafar” airport, resulted
in the destruction of a US Hummer.
13- Detonating an explosive device at a Beshmarga’s patrol, resulted in the
destruction of one of their vehicles in “Rabeeah” region.
14- Detonating an explosive device at a National Guard’s patrol, resulted in
the injury of three of elements.
15- Burning a car for the apostate Awakening Councils in “Al-Balyg” region,
resulted in the death of one of their elements and the injury of two others.
16- Blowing up a headquarters of “Al-Ashayes” Security in “ Badoosh” region.
17- Exploding a booby-trapped car at a headquarters of Shiite militias in
“Tallafar” region, resulted in the death of 45 and the injury of 74 of them.
18- Blowing up a house of a policeman called (A’abed Kunnah).
19- Detonating an explosive device in “Malybeya” region-“Shaykh Ibrahym”
village at a crusader patrol , resulted in the destruction of a vehicle and
the death of all its passengers
20- Detonating an explosive device at a police
patrol in “ al-Boari” region- “Tallafar” , resulted in the death of two of them
and the injury of the rest.
21- Exploding a booby trapped car at a police station in “ Ba’aj” region ,
resulted in the injury of four elements , burning seven police vehicles and the
destruction of the building .
22- Assassinating an agent working with the crusader forces in “ Al-Hodood”
region.
23- Launching two rockets at a headquarters of Ad-Dajjal (Mouqtada As-Sader)
Army in “Tallafar” region.
24- Launching three rockets at the “ Tamarat” camp , two rockets hit the camp
but looses were unknown.
25- Assassinating four men ,working with the crusader forces ,of “ As-Soqoor”
tribes and burning their cars in “Tall Khaleel” village -“ Ba’aj” region.
This operation is a part of al-Karama (The Dignity) Plan, which was declared by
Ameer Al-Mu’meneen Sheikh Abu Omar al-Baghdadi (may Allah protect him), leader
of the Islamic State of Iraq.
