Eliminating "Kareem Qandeel", the Awakening Councils' leader of al-Khalis
region
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
All praise is due to Allah, Who created the Jinn and mankind to worship,
praise, glorify and be grateful to Him alone; not to disbelieve in Him. And to
obey; not to disobey Him. He sent them His Messenger (peace and blessings of
Allah be upon him) to assist , honor, and follow him. Allah ordered the Jinn
and mankind, through His Messenger, to be righteous, good-doers; and not to
sin or transgress . He ordered them to help each other in virtue,
righteousness and piety; and not to help each other in sin and transgression.
He ordered them to be followers (of the Prophet and his companions) ; not to
dispute (with one another) and be innovators (in Islam).
We bear witness that there is no deity but Allah who said " It was incumbent
upon Us to help the believers".
And we bear witness that Muhammad is His slave, Messenger and final prophet
whose prophethood concluded the religion of Allah.
Allah made Jihad the pinnacle of His religion, and no Muslim neglects it
unless he is a looser, and it is feared that he will become a hypocrite
because of this negligence.
On 23/8/2008, we could (all praise is due to Allah)
eliminate "Kareem Qandeel", one of the apostasy and treason heads and the
leader of al-Khalis Awakening Councils, along with two of his bodyguards after
we have received detailed intelligence information about his visit to Karkuk
city, he was met by the lions of virtue who put an end to his life.
This operation was part of al-Karama (The Dignity) Plan, which was declared by
Ameer Al-Mu’meneen Sheikh Abu Omar al-Baghdadi (may Allah protect him), leader
of the Islamic State of Iraq.

Report of Military Operations in Some Regions of Baghdad Province
100 operations against the enemies of Islam
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful.
All praise and thanks are due to Allah, and may the peace and blessings of
Allah be upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family and his companions in entirety.
This is the news report of military operations carried out by the Mujahideen
of the Islamic State of Iraq (may Allah honor it) in some regions of Baghdad
province, during 04/07/2008 to 01/08/2008. All praise is due to Allah .
Southern Ar-Rosafa Sector:
1- On 10/07/2008 : Detonating a sticky bomb at a leader in Ad-Dajjal (Mouqtada
As-Sader) Army at the “ Kahrmana” square in a police checkpoint to leave a
policeman killed.
2- On 12/07/2008 : Detonating an IED at a brigadier general in the traffic
police (he was the leader of “Ad-Doora” traffic department) nearby his
department in “ Maysaloon” square because of his work with the apostate police
, resulted in his death and the injury of three of his escorts . This
operation was reported in the media.
3- On 12/07/2008 : Detonating an IED at the National Guard in “Al-Qahera”
quarter , resulted in the injury of four of them .
4- On 13/07/2008 : Detonating an IED at a police patrol on “Al-Maghrib” street
, resulted in the injury of three of their elements .
5- On 14/07/2008 : Detonating an IED inside a headquarters for the Interior
Commandos in “Al-Ghadeer” quarter , but losses were unknown .
6- On 14/07/2008 : Destruction of a police car in “At-Tahariyat” square in “
Kurada” region , resulted in the death of two passengers and the injury of a
third one .
7- On 15/07/2008 : Detonating an IED inside a checkpoint for “As-Sloaykh”
region’s Awakening Councils , resulted in the death of two of their elements
and the injury of another one .
8- On 16/07/2008 : Killing an Officer in the Rafidite Badr Organization.
9- On 18/07/2008 : Detonating an IED at a security company's car in
“Kuradda-Dakhil” region .
10- On 19/07/2008 : Detonating an IED at two elements of the Interior
Commandos and a spy nearby ”Al-Wathiq” square , resulted in their death .
11- On 19/07/2008 : Assassinating two security elements who were in a (Monica)
car on (Zayoona) road .
12- On 19/07/2008 : Assassinating a (Monica) car's driver, who was working in
the security forces, on (Mohamed Al-Qasim) street .
13- On 20/07/2008 : Assassinating an element of the Interior Commandos in
“Al-Ghadeer” region .
14- On 20/07/2008 : Attacking a (Coaster) car for the government on (Mohamed
Al-Qasim) road .
15- On 20/07/2008 : Detonating an IED at an element of “ Ouer” quarter’s
Awakening Councils .
16- On 20/07/2008 : Assassinating one of the Major general “Ali Al-Yaseri's”
escorts in “Al-Ghadeer” region .
17- On 21/07/2008 : Detonating an IED at a gathering of the apostate police
amidst “New Baghdad” region inside “Ath-Thowrah” Garage .
18- On 21/07/2008 : Attacking two apostates in their (Picatcho) car in
“Kumpsara” region , resulted in the death of one and the injury of the other .
19- On 21/07/2008 : Assassinating two judges working in Counter-Terrorism
Institute .
20- On 21/07/2008 : Killing three elements of the Interior apostates in their
double-cabin (Nissan) car on (Mohamed Al-Qasim) street .
21- On 21/07/2008 : Attacking a car called the “Anthrax” on (Mohamed Al-Qasim)
street , resulted in the death of two apostates .
22- On 21/07/2008 : Detonating an IED at a squad of the apostate Interior
Ministry in “Al-Kurrada” region , resulted in the injury of three of them .
23- On 21/07/2008 : Detonating an IED at a police patrol in “Al-Wzazeriyy”
region , resulted in the injury of five of its elements among them a Colonel .
24- On 21/07/2008 : Detonating an IED at the elements of Ad-Dajjal (Mouqtada
As-Sader) Army nearby “As-Sadrayn” mosque in “ Az-Zafaraniyya” region , the
hit was on target .
25- On 21/07/2008 : Assassinating a member in the apostate Interior Ministry
while driving his (Altima) car in “ Al-Wehdah” quarter .
26- On 21/07/2008 : Assassinating a security element in the apostate
government while driving his (Monica) car in “Al-Wehdah” quarter .
27- On 22/07/2008 : Assassinating an element in the apostate Interior Ministry
while driving his (Monica) car in “ Al-Ghdeer” quarter .
28- On 22/07/2008 : Injuring a general manager in the Ministry of Culture .
29- On 22/07/2008 : Assassinating an Officer in the National Guard on
“Palestine” street .
30- On 22/07/2008 : Assassinating an Officer in the Interior Ministry on
“Al-Qanah” highway .
31- On 24/07/2008 : Sniper shot and injured an apostate element of Awakening
Councils in “ Ash-Sha’ab” region .
32- On 27/07/2008 : Sniper shot an injured an apostate element of Awakening
Councils in “ Ash-Sha’ab” region .
33- On 27/07/2008 : Sniper shot an killed an apostate element of Awakening
Councils in “ Sabe’e -Ebkaar” region .
34- On 29/07/2008 : Detonating an IED at the elements of Ad-Dajjal (Mouqtada
As-Sader) Army , resulted in the death or injury of ten of them .
35- 30/07/2008 : Detonating an IED at a National Guard’s patrol in front of
their station in “ Zayona” region , resulted in the death or injury of eleven
of them .
36- 31/07/2008 : Detonating an IED at a police patrol in “Al-Wehdah” quarter
in “ Al-Kurrada” region , resulted in the death or injury of three of them .
37- 01/08/2008 : Detonating an IED at a National Guard’s Hummer vehicle in
their checkpoint on “ An-Nidhal” street nearby “Al-Andalos” , the hit was
precise and on target .
38- 01/08/2008 : Detonating an IED at a (Monica) car nearby “Al-Awael”
restaurant in “ Al-Kurrada” region , resulted in the death or injury of all
its passenger .
39- 01/08/2008 : Detonating an IED at a police patrol in “ Hay Somar” region ,
resulted in the death or injury of three of them .
40- 01/08/2008 : Detonating an IED at a checkpoint for the Awakening Councils
in “Kumpsara” region , resulted in the injury of two of them and a policeman .
Northern Ar-Rosafa Sector:
1- On 28/07/2008 : Detonating an IED at a US Hummer vehicle on “Al-Khadra”
bridge .
2- On 31/07/2008 : Detonating an IED at a car for a leader in “Al-Adhamiyya”
Awakening Councils . Losses were unknown .
3- On 01/08/2008 : Blowing up the house and shops of “At-Tarmiyya” mayor.
Northern Al-Karkh Sector:
1- On 24/07/2008 : Shelling a National Guard’s checkpoint in “Al-Jihad”
quarter , resulted in the death of two elements and taking their weapons as
booty . The operation was filmed.
2- On 26/07/2008 : Complete destruction of a US Hummer vehicle after
detonating an IED at it on “Al-Ghazaliyya” road (at 12:30 pm) . The operation
was filmed .
3- On 26/07/2008 : Detonating an IED at a National Guard’s barracks in
“Al-Mansoor” region on the street leading to “ Abu Jafar Al-Mansoor” square ,
resulted in the death two of their elements .
4- On 26/07/2008 : Attacking the leader of “Ad-Dawawi & Al- Mansoor” Awakening
Councils . He is now in hospital in a critical condition due to his head's
injury.
In the period (04/07/2008 - 02/08/2008):
1- Detonating an IED at a joint checkpoint ( National Guard + Awakening
Councils ) in “Al-Yarmook” region , resulted in the injury of an element of
the Awakening Councils and another of the National Guard .
2- Detonating an IED at a joint checkpoint ( National Guard + Awakening
Councils ) in “Hay Al-Jamea’ah” region , resulted in the injury of an element
of the Awakening Councils and two others of the National Guard, one of them
was gravely injured .
3- Detonating an IED at the members of the Interior Ministry in “Al-Ala’awi”
region , resulted in the death of six apostate members .
4- Detonating an IED at the elements of the apostate police in “As-Salihiyya”
region , resulted in the death of two elements and the injury of four others .
5- Detonating an IED at the elements of the apostate police nearby “Baghdad”
radio station , resulted in the death or injury of six elements .
6- Killing a Shiite element of Ad-Dajjal (Mouqtada As-Sader) Army in “ Hay
Al-Jihad” region .
7- Detonating an IED at a gathering of the Awakening Councils in
“Al-Gazaliyya” region . The hit was on target .
8- Killing a consultant in Justice Ministry .
9- Attacking a US Hummer vehicle in “Al-Ameriiyya” region , resulted in the
death of an American soldier and the injury of another one .
10- Killing two elements of the Awakening Councils in “Al-Ameriiyya” region .
11- Killing an element of the National Guard in “Al-Eskan” region .
12- Attacking the elements of the Awakening Councils and injuring three of
them .
13- Attacking a National Guard’s patrol in a pickup car , resulted in the
death of three of them .
Southern Al-Karkh Sector:
1- On 15/07/2008 : Eliminating an Officer in the National Guard in “Ad-Dowra”
region .
2- On 16/07/2008 : Eliminating an element of the Awakening Councils
intelligence in “Ad-Dowra” region .
3- On 23/07/2008 : Eliminating two Shiite elements of Ad-Dajjal (Mouqtada As-Sader)
Army in “Ad-Dowra” region .
4- On 23/07/2008 : Eliminating an element of the apostate Awakening Councils
in “Ad-Dowra” region .
5- On 31/07/2008 : Attacking the Awakening Councils' checkpoint in “Ad-Dowra”
region , resulted in the death of two of their elements and the injury of five
others .
6- On 01/08/2008 : Eliminating three elements of the (Dawa) Party and an
element of Ghder (Bader) Corps .
Southern Regions Sector:
1- On 04/07/2008 : Injuring (Nahedh At-Turki) , one of the apostate sheikhs in
“Kurtan” tribe , killing one of his escorts and damaging three (mp5) weapons ,
(Shoroki) Jeep and a pistol after attacking their car with machine guns in
“Ad-Dawanem” region .
2- On 04/07/2008 : Detonating an IED at one of the apostasy leaders in “ As-Sayed
Abdu Allah” region , resulted in his serious injury and the injury of three of
his escorts .
3- On 05/07/2008 : Assassinating a man named (Kareem Hammadi) . He was the
leader of the Awakening Councils in “Ar-Ray” and “Al-Makasib” regions and he
was working with the Americans . The operation was reported in the satellite
channels .
4- On 05/07/2008 : Detonating a booby trapped car at the convoy of “Al-Hullah”
police station’s chief ,the major general (Abaas), in “Al-Mosayyab” region
,resulted in the death of three elements and the injury of two others but he
survived . The operation was reported in the media .
5- On 07/07/2008 : Blowing up houses of Shiite elements of Ad-Dajjjal (Mouqtada
As-Sader) Army in “Al-Bahbahan” region / “ Jofr As-Sakher” region .
6- On 07/07/2008 : Lunching two (Katyusha) rockets at the airport . Columns of
smoke were seen rising from the airport .
7- On 09/07/2008 : Detonating an IED at the leader of “Al-Bahbahan” region’s
Awakening Councils in “Al-Jorf” region , but he was not killed . The operation
was reported in the media .
8- On 14/07/2008 : Killing a leader of the Awakening Councils in “Moaylha”
region named (Adnan) after detonating a sticky bomb at him. Also, two elements
of the Awakening Councils were injured . The operation was reported in the
media .
9- On 14/07/2008 : Detonating an IED at one of the apostasy sheikhs named (Saloom
Abdul Kadem) in “Al-Khoder” region , resulted in his death , the complete
destruction of his car and the serious injury of his escort .
10- On 15/07/2008 : Detonating an IED – an explosive slipper – at one of the
important elements of the Awakening Councils in “Moaylha” region after
sneaking into the region and implanting the bomb on his way . It was detonated
to cut his leg and arm and badly wound his body. He is now in hospital .
11- On 16/07/2008 : Detonating an IED at the car of the leader of
“Al-Yosofiyya” Awakening Councils named (Abu As-Sabea) . He is right now in
the ICU .
12- On 17/07/2008 : Killing an apostate and injuring another after detonating
an IED in “Al-Owaysat” region .
13- On 19/07/2008 : Detonating an IED at a car for the apostate elements of
the Awakening Councils in “ Shakhah 4” region , resulted in the complete
destruction of the car and the injury of all its passengers .
14- On 20/07/2008 : Detonating an IED at five Shiite elements of Ghder (Bader)
Corps in “Al-Haswa” region , resulted in their serious injury .
15- On 23/07/2008 : Killing a leader in the Awakening Councils after
detonating an IED at him in “ Shakhah 5” region .
16- On 27/07/2008 : Assassinating a leader in Awakening Councils named
(Mohammed Dolf) in “ Shakhah 5” region .
Al-Madaen Sector:
1- On 23/07/2008 : Attacking Shiite residents related to Ad-Dajjal (Mouqtada
As-Sader) Army in “Al-Louj” region after they had come back to the region,
resulted in the death of three of them .
2- On 24/07/2008 : Detonating an IED at National Guard elements on “Al-Madaen”
hospital road . Losses were unknown .
3- On 29/07/2008 : Clashing at night with the National Guard (in an ambush) ,
resulted in" the death of two of them and the burning of a car", as they
claimed , but maybe there were some injured but they did not admit.
4- On 31/07/2008 : Eliminating a contractor working with the Americans, after
questioning him, in “Ash-Shojaeriyya” region .
5- On 31/07/2008 : Detonating an IED at National Guard’s patrol in “Al-Lojj”
village in Al-Madaen Sector, resulted in the death of three of their elements
.
In the period ( 04/07/2008 - 17/07/2008 ):
6- Detonating an IED at the Georgian forces , resulted in the destruction of a
Hummer vehicle and the death of all its passengers .
7- Detonating an IED at a car for the Shiites on (Baghdad_ Al-Koot) road .
Losses were unknown.
8- Detonating an IED at a car for Ad-Dajjal (Mouqtada As-Sader) Army on
(Baghdad- Al-Koot) road . Losses were unknown .
9- Detonating two IEDs at the Shiites , resulted in the death of more than ten
elements .
10- Detonating an IED at a National Guard’s barracks , resulted in the death
of two elements .
11- Detonating an IED at a car for the Interior Commandos . Losses were
unknown.
12- Detonating a sticky bomb at a leader in the Islamic party , resulted in
his death .
13- Detonating an IED nearby a National Guard’s barracks in “Al-Ja’arah”
region , resulted in the death of three elements .
14- Detonating an IED in “ Ad-Dareiyya” region at a lorry for the National
Guard , resulted in the death of four elements and the injury of three others
.
15- Detonating an explosive "slipper" at the apostates, resulted in their
serious injury.
Security Squad's Achievements
1- On 26/07/2008 : Detonating an IED at a National Guard’s patrol to injure a
major officer on “Ar-Rabe’e” street .
2- On 28/07/2008 : Assassinating a lieutenant officer and an Interior
commissioner on “Al-Qanah” highway .
3- On 01/08/2008 : Assassinating an officer in the Interior Commandos and
injuring another one in “Al-Ghadeer” quarter .
These operations were part of al-Birr (piety) incursion declared by the
Minister of War Sheikh Abu Hamza al-Mouhajer (may Allah grant him victory),
included in al-Karama (The Dignity) Plan, which was declared by Ameer Al-Mu’meneen
Sheikh Abu Omar al-Baghdadi (may Allah protect him), leader of the Islamic
State of Iraq.
